Karachi Intense Traffic Jam Problem

Karachi is one of the major city of Pakistan. People of this city is facing many obstacles and one of them is intense traffic dilemma.

. Due to the rising of number of population, the growth of public transport is also increase. If we compare the expansion of transport of the vehicles and routes/roads, we will find a heavy difference.  In 1950's the  production of  population  in urban areas was  29.8%.  But according  to the survey of  2014,  the population  rates  of  Karachi  is  13.876 millions. However the roads, bridges and under pass could not constructed according to the advancement of vehicles of public transport.  Beside this,  following  are the main purposes of traffic jam.

*  Violation  of  traffic rules is the main reason of  traffic jam  as  most of  the  people are seen  to violate the traffic rules on the  road on daily basis and corrupt  system  of   traffic  police too.

*  Some of  small  traders  place  their  illegal  stalls of  items  like foods and others  in various  main streets and  chokes of the city. Its  not wrong  to say that in every nook and  hook  of  the city.

*  VVIP  movements  and  sit-ins  of  various political  and  religious  parties on the main  street  block the main roads therefore  people face hardship to get to their ways.

*  increasing  in  vehicles  due to bank scheme.

There is an un plan infrastructure in Karachi and  it is going to be worst by and by. Transportation  moves on the  roads during the time in which they are not allowed.  There is nobody to keep check and balance  on them. Everyone try to break the rules and  orders .  I often wonder, if there is anyone who control  this  head ache? Authorities must take action against this issue.
